Linktree
Role Overview
As a Staff Product Designer on the Grow pillar, you will lead design for how people and organizations build, understand, and activate their audience across Linktree. Grow sits at the center of the Linktree experience—connecting how audiences are captured, how performance and behavior are understood, and how those signals translate into action over time. The work spans audience signals, insights, engagement tools, and guidance that help individuals, teams, and businesses understand their audience and make more impactful decisions that drive growth on Linktree and across their broader digital presence.
This role is ideal for a designer who enjoys thinking holistically, navigating overlapping problem spaces, and shaping systems that evolve alongside the product. You’ll help bring clarity and cohesion to experiences that cut across setup, engagement, and growth, ensuring the platform feels intentional, flexible, and scalable.
What You’ll Do
Lead the vision, strategy, and execution of design initiatives within the Grow pillar, ensuring they align with—and evolve—Linktree’s goals and user expectations.
Design products that balance audience understanding, engagement, and optimization, bringing clarity to how people and teams interact with their data, tools, and workflows.
Make data and insights approachable and actionable, simplifying complex signals so users of varying sophistication can confidently make decisions and take action.
Create wireframes, user flows, and prototypes to effectively communicate design concepts, interactions, and system behavior.
Leverage industry-standard design and prototyping tools—such as Figma and Adobe Creative Suite, along with emerging AI-assisted tools (e.g. V0, Lovable, or similar)—to explore concepts quickly, drive early cross-functional alignment, and accelerate iteration.
Contribute to and help curate design systems, style guides, and UI patterns to ensure consistency, scalability, and quality across the product.
Establish and refine design processes, standards, and best practices, promoting a culture of high-quality execution and continuous improvement.
Collaborate closely with Product Managers, Engineers, Data partners, and other stakeholders to deliver cohesive, end-to-end experiences across Linktree.
Conduct and support UX research—using qualitative insights and quantitative signals—to inform design decisions and improve outcomes.
Mentor and guide designers, helping raise the bar on craft, product thinking, and systems design.
Present and communicate design concepts, decisions, and strategy to stakeholders—including leadership—in a clear and compelling way.
Stay abreast of industry trends and advancements in design and technology, leveraging insights to keep Linktree at the cutting edge of digital design.
What We’re Looking For
8+ years of experience designing digital products, with demonstrated impact in complex or ambiguous problem spaces.
A portfolio demonstrating exceptional UI craft across web and mobile, with strong interaction design and information architecture applied to real-world products.
Strong systems thinker who can design across interconnected surfaces, workflows, and user needs.
Experience working on products that serve multiple user types, such as individuals, businesses, or teams.
Comfort operating at a Staff level—setting direction, influencing outcomes, and guiding quality beyond individual features.
Proficiency with modern design and prototyping tools (e.g. Figma, Adobe Creative Suite) and comfort adopting new AI-powered tools as workflows evolve.
Excellent collaboration and communication skills across disciplines.
Ability to navigate ambiguity and help teams move forward with clarity and confidence.
