
We are working exclusively with a highly successful meat and seafood distributor that is scaling rapidly across Northern California.
As part of a strategic growth plan, the business is splitting its Northern California territory and creating a brand new Area Sales Manager role focused on the San Francisco Bay Area. This is a key leadership hire with significant commercial responsibility and long-term upside.
The Northern California operation is forecast to reach $300m in revenue within the next five years, and this role will play a central part in that growth.
This is a hands-on sales leadership position, combining customer ownership with team building and development.
Key responsibilities include
Owning and growing key foodservice accounts across the San Francisco Bay Area
Leading an initial team of approximately 3 to 5 sales professionals
Recruiting, developing and scaling the team to 10+ as the territory grows
Driving market penetration across restaurants, hotels, resorts and hospitality groups
Working closely with senior leadership on strategy, pricing and expansion plans
We are looking to speak with experienced foodservice sales leaders who bring:
Strong background in meat and or seafood distribution
Proven success selling into chefs, owners and buyers within HORECA
Experience managing and growing sales teams
A strong personal customer network in the Bay Area
A hands on, commercial mindset with the ability to lead from the front
