Boulevard Brewing Company is looking for skilled and friendly individuals to add to our team this summer (June and July). We will be welcoming the world to KC and Boulevard for an exciting time in our city. These seasonal positions play a major role in creating and providing a satisfactory customer experience for our visitor center. The Tours & Rec teammate may work seasonal positions including bartender, host, tour guide, barback, porter and kitchen spots. Weekends, holiday, and evening availability required. Responsibilities
Welcome guests, guide them through our space, beers and food menu Be an advocate of Boulevard Brewing Company Be knowledgeable on our beer, merchandise, facilities and community Pour beer in a professional and friendly manner Greet and Interact with guests, take orders and serve snacks Assess guests needs and preferences and make recommendations Check guest identification to verify they are of legal drinking age Deliver completed orders to guests throughout the Beer Hall, Tasting Room, and Rec Deck Identify customer issues and take necessary steps to correct them Help maintain a clean and organized workplace (inside and outside) Host groups in our public facilities including room setup/clean up, drink and food orders, and general support Follow all opening and closing instructions Pour samples for tour guests, upholding beer service standards Bus tables, wash glassware, change kegs and maintain a clean & organized workplace (inside and outside) Follow SMART guidelines for responsible serving Knowledge, Experience and Abilities Required
Strong customer service and skills A passion for craft beer An interest in learning, asking questions, and demonstration knowledge to others Ability to keep up with a fast paced, high volume environment Strong communication and interpersonal skills Previous restaurant / hospitality experience preferred Must be 21 years of age Embrace the Duvel Moortgat values: Passion, Quality, Sustainability, & Integrity Other Duties
