Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your hiring manager. Responsibilities

The Director of Embedded Payments will lead the execution and delivery of Visa’s embedded payments product development, driving integration with accounting software and ERP platforms globally. This role manages cross-functional teams, oversees technical development and product roadmaps, and ensures successful market launches and ongoing enhancements. Lead a team of product professionals responsible for identifying and mapping customer and business requirements into features for our technology organization to accelerate the integration of Visa’s virtual payment capabilities into SaaS solutions. Accountable to deliver on strategic objectives, resource planning, and stakeholder engagement to accelerate adoption and revenue growth. Bridge stakeholders from sales, marketing, and regional product teams to execute go-to-market strategy and drive adoption of embedded payments solutions. Demonstrate strong customer acumen and B2B payments experience, with knowledge of Accounting Software, ERP, and/or corporate payment systems, and the ability to solve problems creatively and navigate business systems integrations. Key Responsibilities

Product Management Leadership: research, identify, and validate customer pain points; own the end-to-end product development lifecycle for embedded payments from concept to launch and ongoing optimization; analyze market presence and technical foundations of SaaS business applications; define and execute the product roadmap with enabling features; collaborate with technology teams to build reusable components; manage new feature rollout to production including prototyping and user acceptance testing; drive customer adoption with pre-sales, solutions, and pilot programs. Execution & Delivery: oversee co-development efforts and technical delivery, ensuring timely sprints, milestones, and releases across multiple tracks; manage resource allocation, budget, and vendor relationships; drive continuous improvement in development processes. Partner Enablement & GTM: collaborate with internal teams and external partners to align goals and deliverables; support go-to-market efforts; tailor solutions for regional needs and regulatory requirements; participate in co-marketing and sales enablement; provide solution overviews and technical support to sales and client services. Compliance & Risk: ensure all features meet global/regional standards (e.g., PSD2, 2FA/SCA, KYC, accessibility) and proactively identify and mitigate risks related to delivery, market entry, and onboarding. Management & Reporting: track integration milestones, partner onboarding, and revenue activation targets; manage budgets for SI development funds and licensing costs; report on KPIs including number of integrations and partner satisfaction. Qualifications

Basic Qualifications: 10+ years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or 8+ years with an Advanced Degree (e.g., Masters/MBA/JD/MD) or 3+ years with a PhD. Preferred Qualifications: 12+ years with a Bachelor’s Degree or 8–10 years with an Advanced Degree (e.g., Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 6+ years with a PhD; 10+ years in product partnerships, systems integration, or enterprise software delivery; deep understanding of AP/ERP, P2P, vertical SaaS, and expense management tools; proven experience managing global SIs; strong technical acumen in APIs, middleware, and embedded finance; excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management; project management skills; experience in payments, fintech, or B2B SaaS; travel up to 20% for engagements. Preferred Attributes: familiarity with Visa Developer Platform or developer platforms; experience with digital payments, payments integrations, and/or virtual card issuance; matrixed global organization experience; procurement and contracting with vendors; comfortable in a fast-paced environment with evolving priorities. Work Authorization: Permanent Authorization to work in the U.S. is a precondition. Visa will not sponsor work visas for this position. Work Hours: Varies by department needs. U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range is 186,800 to 299,200 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments; salary varies with knowledge, skills, experience, and location. This position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
