Makes and serves coffee/espresso drinks and related food and beverage items. Handles food according to guidelines and standards for quality food-service operations. Interacts with customers and other employees in a friendly, courteous manner. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Core Responsibilities 1914 Club Barista Customer Service:
Act with a "customer comes first" attitude, be NICE while connecting with guests to deliver a positive experience.
Beverage Preparation:
Handcraft hot and cold beverages (coffee, espresso, teas, Frappuccino style drinks) according to strict recipe and presentation standards.
Store Operations:
Maintain accurate inventory, and restock products while following strict hospitality guidelines and cleanliness.
Cleaning & Maintenance:
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace, including sanitizing equipment and cleaning the dining area.
Teamwork & Efficiency:
Collaborate with team members to meet, or exceed, customer expectations, especially during busy, high-pressure shifts.
Required Skills & Qualifications Communication:
Strong interpersonal skills to interact with customers and colleagues.
Multitasking
: Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
Physical Stamina
: Ability to stand for long periods, walk, and lift up to 30 pounds.
Flexibility
: Available to work varied hours, including weekends, nights, and holidays.
Attention to Detail:
Strict adherence to, and compliance with, safety, security, and quality control procedures.
Passionate:
Enthusiastic about coffee culture and creating memorable moments.
Reliable:
Consistent attendance and punctuality.
Adaptable
