Provide executive leadership and supervision for academic services, sports medicine, athletic training, performance nutrition, sport psychology, SAAC, and NIL education programs Promote an integrated, holistic approach to student-athlete development including academic achievement, physical health, mental wellness, leadership development, and life skills Collaborate with campus partners to enhance wellness, counseling, nutrition, and educational support for student-athletes Serve as Sport Administrator for assigned programs, overseeing budgeting, scheduling, compliance, personnel management, and competitive performance Act as the primary liaison between coaching staffs and Athletics senior leadership Evaluate coaching staffs and programs to ensure alignment with departmental goals and institutional values Oversee academic progress monitoring, eligibility certification, retention strategies, and graduation initiatives Partner with academic affairs to support student-athlete academic success and degree completion Provide administrative oversight of sports medicine and athletic training operations, ensuring best practices in injury prevention, treatment, rehabilitation, and return-to-play protocols Oversee performance nutrition services, including fueling education and meal planning Oversee sport psychology and mental health services to promote performance and well-being Support a culture of physical, mental, and emotional wellness across athletic programs Advise and support the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) and promote leadership development, civic engagement, and community outreach Oversee NIL education programming and coordinate with compliance, legal, and external partners Assist the Director of Athletics with departmental planning, policy development, and strategic initiatives; ensure compliance with NCAA, conference, and institutional regulations Represent the Athletics Department on institutional and external committees as assigned Develop and communicate with former student-athletes regarding department events and engagement opportunities Support departmental special events, external relations, and strategic initiatives Perform additional duties consistent with the scope of the position Qualifications
Required Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in a related field; Five (5) years of experience directly related to the standard duties Equivalency:
