The base salary range for this position is $163,000 - $203,000.

Job Summary This position directs short‑term forecasting processes for Avangrid and supports performance analysis and key performance reporting for Avangrid and its affiliates. It leads financial analysis and research projects to provide top management with financial data and business advice supporting key business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Directs the corporate financial planning process, including coordinating, designing, and communicating financial data to senior management for budgeting and revision processes.

Partner with Avangrid CEOs, CFOs, and controllers to understand key financial drivers behind business performance.

Lead the expansion and build‑out of the business performance function, including organizational design and talent acquisition.

Conduct assessments of corporate performance versus plans and guide plan changes and inquiries.

Evaluate risk and opportunities around annual budgeting and forecasting processes.

Contribute to the development and revision of corporate accounting and reporting policies.

Direct moderate and complex financial analysis and business profitability and cost analysis projects presented to management.

Provide guidance on financial planning, information, and modeling to regulated and non‑regulated affiliates.

Communicate financial results performance to internal and senior management.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or Data Science; MBA or master’s in Data Science a strong plus; 10+ years of related work experience.

Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.

Advanced knowledge of SAP, BPC, or SAC.

Stakeholder management and relationship‑building capabilities.

Process transformation experience.

High level of communication and presentation skills.

Curiosity, problem‑solving, and ability to drive to root issue.

High‑level detail orientation.

Strategic thinking with ability to execute.

Self‑motivated and proactive.

Comfortable working in fast‑paced, high‑pressure environments.

Preferred Qualifications

Utilities experience.

CPA (Certified Public Accountant).
