As a Field Merchandiser, you'll work independently to showcase your organization and time management skills, establish retailer relationships, and be the face of Hallmark. You will collaborate with local store teams to optimize product placement and maintain inventory levels, and support fellow team members with seasonal resets and installations when needed. Your starting hourly pay rate will be $12.00-$14.00 depending on your skills and experience. Eligible Employees receive annual pay increases. This is a Part‑Time position with a variable schedule during the work week. Average weekly hours for this position are between 3‑6 hours per week. Availability the week before and after major holidays, which may include weekends, is required. Your Role And Responsibilities
You'll perform service work in the Hallmark department of various retail stores such as grocery stores, drug stores, department stores, and mass retailers. The role consists of three major components: Day‑to‑day engagement: Using a mobile device provided by Hallmark, you’ll restock, organize, and monitor the inventory of Hallmark products within and outside the Hallmark department. You’ll use technology for communication with the supervisor, reporting time, providing feedback, and answering required merchandising surveys. Holiday support: Leading up to and following holidays such as Valentine’s Day, Easter, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas, you may be required to work additional days and extended hours during the work week. On some holidays, you may be required to work on the holiday itself or the weekend. Department resets: When notified two weeks in advance, you may help install Hallmark fixtures, relocate card departments and products, and reset card sections. This could include evenings or weekends. Team collaboration: You are part of a network of merchandisers who often support each other in their territories. Physical Requirements
This job requires high energy and urgency. You will work on the selling floor and in back stockrooms, consistently pushing, pulling, lifting, and carrying cartons, merchandise, and display fixtures up to 30 pounds daily and up to 50 pounds occasionally. You will kneel, squat, walk, stand, and may climb stairs or ladders. Basic Qualifications
At least 18 years of age. Proficient in reading, writing, and understanding English. Ability to repeatedly lift 30 pounds and occasionally 50 pounds. Can operate a handheld digital device to read and interpret documents. Has access to Wi‑Fi and the internet. Has reliable transportation to travel to and between assigned stores as scheduled.
