Work alongside sales consultant to enhance employee benefit sales within specific territory. Build strong relationships with advisors to promote the sale of employee benefit products through education and consultation. Here are a few of the types of things you'll do: Sell all types of group employee benefit products to meet or exceed sales goals, through all distribution channels. Focus on writing and maintaining profitable business through targeted broker selection. Increase production from established relationships and develop new relationships for the purpose of generating new sales. Provide training, education and sales support to all producers as needed to create awareness and understanding of group benefit products. Monitor pipeline for sales opportunities. Deliver the quote most likely to sell on each opportunity based on competitive pricing analysis, application of product knowledge and promotional offerings available at the time of quote. Act as a liaison for the sales representative with underwriting to negotiate additional pricing relief (as needed). Assist with the preparation and presentation of written proposal and other materials illustrating plan design and product solutions to prospective clients. Collaborate with sales representative, employee benefit specialist and account executive to identify opportunities to meet and exceed annual sales and cross purchase goals. Who You Are: Bachelors degree or equivalent and 1+ years of work related experience required Resident and non-resident life and health licensing required based on state and/or federal laws and/or company policy in accordance with current licensing policy Must have strong interest in external sales, sales aptitude and strong relationship building skills Must have the ability to adapt to change and manage multiple projects Must have a strong work ethic, be a self starter and accountable for own actions Requires ability to work independently with limited direction, excellent and persuasive written and oral communication skills, excellent presentation skills and basic computer skills Frequent travel within assigned territory Salary Range Information: This position offers a competitive compensation package consisting of a base salary combined with incentive earnings. The base salary will provide financial stability, while the incentive component offers additional earning potential based on performance metrics. Salary Range (Non-Exempt expressed as hourly; Exempt expressed as yearly): $35000 - $35000 / year Time Off Program: Personal Time Off (PTO) is provided to hourly (non-exempt) employees and provides a set amount of accrued time earned each pay period. Employees can use their PTO for vacation, personal or short-term illness.
