JELD-WEN is currently seeking a Supervisor, Inside Sales to join our growing team. The Role

The Inside Sales Supervisor is regarded as the product and technical specialist for JELD-WEN products and processes and is responsible for assisting and supporting other members of the department to ensure the JELD-WEN customer is receiving first class service. They will be a progressive and dynamic leader who brings a cross-functional approach to the organization and with customers. The Sales Supervisor will bring experience building/driving and supporting a team and be willing and able to challenge the status quo and hold their team accountable for the changes that are required to better serve customers and consumers. Principle Duties and Responsibilities

Assist the Inside Sales Manager in leading the department, participate in leadership team meetings and ensure expectations and job functions that support JELD-WEN goals are maintained and followed. Function as the Knowledge Coordinator for departmental resources Serve as product expert responsible for order entry, quoting, and phones (incoming, escalations, e.g. backorders) Serve as department liaison between staff and management for escalated and difficult customer situations Lead, develop and motivate the team, ensuring that the resources and organization structure are optimal to deliver the strategic plan. Implement necessary metrics, tools, processes and system enhancements to drive increased accountability and performance for the sales organization. Lead and manage the sales team, including recruitment, training, and performance evaluation. Other duties may be assigned Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

Outstanding interpersonal, written and communication skills; as this position will act as primary customer contact and maintain ongoing customer relationships for repeat orders. Must be self-motivated, confident, positive and professional when dealing with both internal and external customers. Must be laser focused on customer satisfaction. Must have a strong work ethic with a positive can-do attitude and the ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment. MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Salesforce Education and Experience

Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution with a minimum of 3 years of experience in a customer-facing support role (customer service, technical support, inside sales, etc.) 2 years of experience with demonstrated knowledge of JW products or systems preferred. Advanced skills in Microsoft Office applications Supervisory Experience a Plus Nearest Major Market: Detroit
