Description
We are seeking an experienced and visionary leader in curriculum development and instruction. This role collaborates with the Curriculum, Instruction, and Assessment (CIA) team to plan, research, and document learning outcomes. Collaborates with teachers to continuously strengthen teaching and learning across the district.
The position will work with secondary building administrators to ensure consistency across schools in course content, materials access, course coding, and transcript production. Key responsibilities include ensuring compliance with Nebraska Department of Education Rule requirements, assisting the Assistant Superintendent with curriculum resource budget planning, and developing long-range plans for curriculum implementation and program evaluation.
The ideal candidate will collaborate with CIA team leaders to align curriculum, instruction, and assessment; contribute to strategic planning; and district goals. This position requires a strong presenter, researcher and learner who can effectively lead change and foster collaboration at every level of the organization.
Additionally, you will remain current in your field through ongoing professional growth and collaboration, communicate regularly with parents and staff, and contribute to building- and district-level meetings. Dependable attendance, supervisory responsibilities, and other assigned duties are also key components of this position.
Qualifications
Required:
Master's degree in Education, Curriculum & Instruction, or related field
Valid Nebraska teaching certificate and administrative certification
Proven experience in curriculum development and instructional leadership
Strong knowledge of Nebraska Department of Education requirements and regulations
Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills
Demonstrated ability to lead teams and manage complex projects
Preferred:
Experience working in PK-12 educational settings
Background in educational technology integration
Experience with budget management and strategic planning
This position begins on July 1, 2026 and is a Full Time year round position.
At least 5 year(s) of relevant experience preferred. Master degree preferred. Citizenship, residency or work visa required
