Job Summary

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

Serve as temporary interim Regional Vice President during their absence

Responsible for successful audits from The Joint Commission or DNV process

Controls successful new accounts and program start-ups

Increase regional revenue and/or operating profit contribution

Maintains an awareness of the competition and market conditions

Coordinates with other functional areas for resale, reassessment and rebid process

Approves costing in the sales/survey process

Conducts high quality Quarterly Business Review

Assists in developing and/or monitoring a district/unit business plan

Leads and reports in accordance with corporate goals for growth, security, and continuity of the respective agreement

Implements KPI improvement strategies

Maintains compliance on company ISO:13485 certification standards/QMP policies and requirements

Ensures company and client capital assets are maintained in first class working condition

Effectively establishes the Service Delivery Plan by asset

Responsible for the C-Suite client relationship, client satisfaction, and client retention

Communicates current capabilities, new programs and revenue expansion to client

Represents the company on various hospital committees to ensure safe and effective equipment operation to the contract specifications

Provides input on client capital replacement strategies for medical equipment and the maintenance requirements

Responds expeditiously to calls from clinical departments, and customers to evaluate and rectify valid operator complaints and concerns

Displays effective client service in accordance with client satisfaction survey protocol

Participates in regional succession and backfill planning

Mentors and trains assigned managers on administrative and personnel matters

Provides leadership and managerial oversight to direct reports, as assigned, maintaining optimum productivity, quality, and efficiency

Participates in the hiring process to meet staffing objectives

Mentors and trains junior biomedical equipment technicians with in-service educational training on proper use and maintenance of equipment

Responsible for productivity and staffing that is appropriate to the account(s)

Provides recognition for employees when programs are implemented with success

Responsible for coordinating engagement survey action plan

Manages disciplinary issues and other employee relations concerns with guidance from Human Resources

Completes annual employee performance evaluations, competency assessments, training plans, and merit increases on a timely basis

Responsible for preparation and implementation of specific development and training specific plans for region and key high potential management personnel

Executes the client contract and issues timely amendments for change orders

Coordinates with regional leadership for MCC opportunities

Reviews long term full year forecast quarterly

Reviews accounts for flash/close meeting monthly with variance documentation

Develops recovery plan when financial goals are not met

Ensures account accruals for liabilities and revenue

Responsible for account collections

Approves high dollar parts/demand and vendor contracts within budgeted levels

Approves capital requests within budgeted levels

Accountable for all reverse supply chain activity (returns, credits, tax)

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor's Degree in technical discipline or Healthcare Administration or equivalent

Experience: Minimum of ten years servicing a broad representation of clinical/patient care equipment in a hospital environment

Minimum of five years of multiple location management

Minimum of three years managing multiple clinical engineering departments
