AI-powered answer engines
(Google AIOverviews, ChatGPT, Perplexity, Claude). This role bridges
SEO, GenerativeAI, and regulatory compliance , ensuring accurate, authoritative, andcompliant information discovery for patients, caregivers, and HealthcareProfessionals (HCPs).You will define andexecute an
AI-ready organic strategy , manage an external SEO agency, andpartner closely with Medical, Legal, and Regulatory (MLR) teams.
Lead

and Answer Engine Optimizationstrategies
Optimizecontent for AI-driven discovery, entity understanding, and citationauthority
Overseetechnical SEO health, structured data, and advanced
Schema markup
(e.g., MedicalWebPage, Drug, FAQ)
Movebeyond keywords to entity-based and relationship-driven search strategies
GuideAI-enabled SEO workflows (metadata generation, content analysis, AI searchinsights)
Optimizecontent for conversational and natural-language queries
Partnerwith agencies to pilot compliant AI tools and methodologies
Cross-Functional Leadership
Actas liaison between SEO teams and
Medical, Legal, and Regulatory (MLR)
stakeholders
Educatemarketers and leadership on AI search, GEO, and business impact
Manageexternal SEO agencies with accountability for quality, engagement, andsentiment
Qualifications
2+years
in a highly regulated industry (Pharma, Biotech, Finance, Insurance)
Strongunderstanding of
LLMs, AI search, RAG, and entity-based SEO
Deepexperience with
Schema.org, Knowledge Graphs , and SEO tools (GSC,SEMrush, etc.)
Provenexperience navigating
MLR/PRC review processes
