Hospitality Spotlight is looking for a
Sales and Marketing Director
for a luxury hotel in
Austin, TX
The Work:
Lead by example at all levels of execution
Manage sales and marketing team while also selling.
Create a local, regional and national sales plan to include all markets.
Relationship building with established business clientele while focusing on the goal of obtaining new business.
Attend industry trade shows and become involved with the local community to benefit the hotel
Prepare and maintain Sales and Marketing budget
Additional responsibilities are required
What you’ve already done (requirements):
Full-service Independent boutique and brand hotel experience required
4+ years of experience as Director of Sales & Marketing with a luxury full-service hotel
Thinks critically and objectively; has excellent problem solving skills and the ability to make quick decisions based on business demands
Has a passion for hospitality, demonstrated by a progressive hotel career
Developed interpersonal, adaptive influencing and supervisory management skills
Researched, solicited and sold to new local, regional and national groups
Technology and social media savvy
Involvement with the local community and attended industry trade shows
Team player with the ability to multitask
Excellence in business ethics and integrity
B.A. Degree preferred
