Job Summary: Are you passionate about driving consumer‑facing product strategies and experiences with direct impact on the Walt Disney World business? As the Sr. Franchise and Product Strategy Manager, you will join a team leading the development and execution of commercial product strategies and initiatives, encouraging millions of Guests to experience our Parks and Resorts. You will support Walt Disney World's growth model by delivering commercial and franchise needs assessments, commercially viable product recommendations, and long‑term growth options in partnership with Commercial Strategy, Industrial Engineering, Consumer Insight Measurement & Analytics, Global Development, Walt Disney Imagineering, and Finance.
The ideal candidate is entrepreneurial, inquisitive, confident, self‑directed, and comfortable working with and communicating to leaders at all levels in the organization.
This is a full‑time position.
The Sr Franchise and Product Strategy Manager will report to the Sr Manager‑Franchise Strategy.
Responsibilities:
Build data‑driven franchise strategies and work closely with cross‑functional stakeholders to present compelling business cases.
Develop site‑wide franchise experience roadmaps based on site audience priorities, strategic franchise data, the Walt Disney Company priorities and Franchise content slate.
Drive and support Disney Springs commercial growth strategies, including audience and seasonal priorities.
Foster strong collaborative relationships with key client groups to ensure comprehensive and vetted recommendations including Finance, Walt Disney Imagineering, Industrial Engineering, Disney Live Entertainment, Consumer Insights, Marketing Strategy, and Revenue Planning.
Manage the execution and implementation of approved franchise and character initiatives, leading partners and processes independently.
Effectively prioritize projects in a fast‑paced environment, clearly defining and articulating objectives and necessary steps.
Required Qualifications:
At least five years of experience in business development, strategy, consulting, integrated planning, brand management, finance, franchise, marketing, innovation, or web analytics.
Experience in using data and analysis to inform and substantiate commercial recommendations.
Demonstrated creative problem‑solving skills and continuous improvement process skills.
Strong financial and analytical acumen with a data‑driven approach to identify franchise insights.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Strong project management skills, including the ability to manage complex work effectively and efficiently.
Proactively identify business risks and opportunities, creating plans to substantiate planned revenue growth.
High emotional intelligence with the ability to build strong partnerships and deliver results across various teams.
Ability to translate complex problems and solutions into compelling presentations to present to senior executive leaders with confidence and an authentic style.
Preferred Qualifications:
Knowledge of Walt Disney Parks and Resorts use of product franchises, characters, and experiences.
Required Education: Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Industrial Engineering, Marketing, or other quantitative field or equivalent.
Preferred Education: Master's Degree or MBA.
