Customer Business Lead, Walmart Seasonal Work Location: Rogers Due to the highly interactive and team-based nature of this role, in-person attendance for most of the workweek (i.e., 3 days or more) is essential for: effective communication including during in-person meetings, strong supervision, real-time problem-solving, and participation in cross-functional initiatives.

Reporting to the Director of Sales for Walmart Confections, the Customer Business Lead of Confections will plan and execute business driving initiatives through collaboration with cross-functional partners to achieve company objectives aligned with customer objectives. They will build plans on the Walmart Confections business to deliver profitable, sustainable growth for Ferrara.
This role sits at the center of one of Ferrara’s most critical and fastest-growing customer relationships and is part of a high-performing sales organization with a strong track record of winning. The successful candidate will help shape the next phase of growth by translating category leadership, innovation, and executional excellence into continued marketplace momentum.

Own the process for Walmart Confections, coordinating all cross-functional needs, adhering to Ferrara & Walmart timelines: Modular Line Reviews, Feature Submissions, Samples, Item Setup, Forecasting
Build and retain long-term, collaborative relationships with Walmart via excellent customer service
Establish internal relationships to effectively influence and collaboratively achieve objectives
Develop and implement short-term and long‑term plans and strategies to deliver profitable, sustainable growth with Walmart businesses
Create and execute contingency plans to maximize growth while mitigating risks
Effective cross‑functional collaboration with Category Leadership Supply Chain, and Retail to maximize results
Meet or exceed company growth objectives while adhering to trade budget
Desire to provide constructive input to continuously improve processes
Participate and provide support in Walmart JBPs, QBRs, and Innovation Summits
Demonstrate the company’s core values
Adhere to company policies and procedures

Must reside in Northwest Arkansas. Hybrid work schedule in the Rogers office and ability to travel as required

Minimum of Bachelor’s degree. Master’s degree is a plus
Minimum of 4 years of Sales or related experience working with Walmart
Working knowledge of Walmart merchandising strategies and execution
Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, emphasis on Excel and PowerPoint
Experience in Customer/Channel Marketing, Category Management, and/or Sales Operations is a plus
Experience working with McLane and CoreMark is a plus
Experience working in Confections is a plus
