Director of Operations

to provide strategic oversight across all operational departments through strong, accountable management leadership.

This executive role is designed for a seasoned operations leader who excels at building leadership teams, aligning departmental strategy, and driving company-wide performance through managers.

Position Overview The Director of Operations will have enterprise-level oversight of the company’s operational departments and will directly manage the leaders of each function. This role partners closely with ownership and executive leadership to translate vision into execution by ensuring all departments operate cohesively, efficiently, and profitably.

Rather than managing day-to-day frontline activities, the Director of Operations will lead through departmental managers—setting expectations, establishing performance standards, and holding leadership accountable for results.

Departments Under Oversight The Director of Operations will provide strategic leadership and oversight to the management teams of the following departments:

Sales Operations

Sales Manager overseeing team of Sales Representatives

Revenue performance, forecasting, and conversion strategy

Installation & Production Operations

Installation Manager overseeing installation teams

Scheduling efficiency, quality control, and customer satisfaction

Call Center & Lead Management

Call Center Manager overseeing inbound and outbound teams

Lead flow optimization, appointment setting, and conversion metrics

Canvassing & Field Marketing

Canvassing Manager overseeing field teams

Territory strategy, productivity, and ROI

Marketing & Events

Marketing & Events Manager

Campaign execution, event performance, and brand alignment

Key Responsibilities

Lead, mentor, and hold departmental managers accountable for performance, culture, and results

Establish company-wide KPIs, dashboards, and reporting structures across all departments

Ensure alignment between marketing, sales, production, and customer experience

Drive operational efficiency, scalability, and margin improvement through process optimization

Develop and refine SOPs and management systems to support sustainable growth

Partner with ownership on strategic planning, budgeting, forecasting, and performance reviews

Identify gaps in leadership, processes, or structure and implement corrective action

Champion a culture of accountability, professionalism, and continuous improvement

Ideal Candidate Profile

5+ years of senior operations leadership experience managing managers and department heads

Proven success overseeing multi-department organizations in home services, remodeling, construction, or sales-driven environments

Strong background in building leadership accountability and performance management systems

Highly analytical and metrics-driven, with a track record of improving operational outcomes

Executive presence with exceptional communication and leadership skills

Experience scaling operations and developing management infrastructure
