Marketing Associate Position Purpose The Marketing Associate supports the day-to-day activities of the marketing store and assists with projects that enhance brand consistency, data analysis and organizational efficiency. This role works closely with the Marketing Operations Lead to execute departmental goals while ensuring performance excellence and superior support.
Marketing Associate Essential Functions
Communicates and supports the Kirby-Smith vision and core values of One Mission, One Team, One Plan, One Goal
Actively participates in Kirby-Smith Machinery’s marketing operations environment and continuous learning initiatives
Processes store orders, business card requests, invoices, and cooperative marketing paperwork accurately and on time
Assists with inventory management for both physical and digital stores, including marketing materials, kits, collateral, and salesenablement tools
Tracks, receives, stocks, and ships orders while monitoring freight charges • Conducts quality control inspections on shipments to identify defects or damages
Assists with equipment setup for trade shows and charity events to ensure successful execution and brand representation
Supports incoming phone calls and web leads by providing timely and professional responses
Collaborates with marketing team members on key initiatives that support business growth
Contributes to digital transformation efforts by organizing, maintaining, and promoting online platforms
Adheres to all safety rules, policies, and procedures
Ensures consistent and reliable on-site attendance
Performs other job-related duties as assigned
Marketing Associate Minimum Qualifications
Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field
One to three years of experience in an administrative, marketing support, or coordination role
Ability to speak, read, and write in English
Valid driver’s license
Ability to meet physical requirements
Marketing Associate Physical Requirements
Pushing/Pulling/Lifting/Carrying up to 50 pounds without assistance
Physical ability to squat, twist, turn, bend, stoop, climb, and reach overhead
Must be able to work inside and outside, between buildings and offices, in dirty/dusty conditions
Physical ability to perform workfor extended hours
Works alone or as part of a team
Adheres to personal protective equipment (PPE) policy and maintains individual PPE
