Showing 1 location Tideline Palm Beach 2842 S Ocean Blvd Palm Beach, FL 33480, USA The Managing Director serves as the senior executive leader responsible for stabilizing, strengthening, and elevating the overall performance of Tideline Palm Beach Ocean Resort & Spa. This is a hands-on, turnaround-oriented leadership role requiring a visible, highly engaged operator who is comfortable stepping into the details, resetting expectations, and building sustainable structure across all areas of the resort. The ideal candidate is a resort operator at heart—someone who thrives in environments that require focus, clarity, and execution. You will be instrumental in assessing current operations, identifying gaps, and leading the resort through a period of refinement and operational maturity, while ensuring an exceptional guest experience across hotel operations, food & beverage, spa, and wellness. This role demands a leader who is present, decisive, and willing to lead from the floor—someone who earns trust by being involved, setting clear standards, and holding themselves and others accountable. What You’ll Do
As Managing Director, you will: Take full ownership of the day-to-day resort operation, providing direct, hands-on leadership across hotel, restaurant, bar, spa, and wellness functions. Assess existing operational practices and reset service standards, processes, and accountability where needed to support a luxury resort environment. Lead and support department heads in establishing clear expectations, structure, and consistent execution across all areas of the property. Drive financial performance through disciplined labor management, expense controls, and active oversight of revenue and cost strategies. Be a visible leader throughout the resort—actively engaging with guests, addressing service opportunities in real time, and supporting teams during high-volume periods. Partner with ownership and PM Hotel Group leadership to align on priorities, performance expectations, and long-term strategy. Stabilize team culture by fostering trust, engagement, and clarity, while addressing performance issues directly and constructively. Ensure full compliance with all safety, employment, and regulatory requirements, while reinforcing policies and procedures across departments. Oversee the physical condition of the asset, ensuring preventative maintenance, cleanliness, and presentation meet resort and luxury standards. Who Will Thrive in This Role
This role is best suited for a leader who: Has successfully led turnaround, transition, or stabilization efforts in a hotel or resort environment. Is comfortable being deeply involved in operations and leading alongside their teams, not from behind a desk. Brings strong experience in food & beverage and spa-driven resorts, where guest experience and service flow are critical. Is confident making decisions, setting boundaries, and holding leaders accountable while maintaining a positive, professional culture. Understands that long-term success is built through consistency, discipline, and presence. Where You’ve Been
You bring a bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or equivalent experience, along with at least five years of senior leadership experience in hotel or resort operations. Experience in luxury or lifestyle resorts with significant food & beverage and spa components is strongly preferred. You are fluent in English and have working knowledge of OSHA standards, Department of Health requirements, and applicable labor and safety regulations. When You’re Here
This is a highly active, on-property role. The Managing Director is expected to spend the majority of their time engaged in operations—walking the property, interacting with guests, coaching leaders, and supporting teams. The role requires flexibility across days, evenings, weekends, and holidays, and the physical ability to move throughout the resort environment as needed. In return, PM Hotel Group offers a competitive compensation package, hotel and food & beverage discounts, and the opportunity to lead a high-impact turnaround within a growing, entrepreneurial hospitality organization.
