Within Platform Distribution Finance, the Affiliate Revenue Shared Service team supports both the Sports and Disney Entertainment segments’ domestic Affiliate revenue planning. This revenue stream, totaling $14.9B in FY25, is contracted by the Platform Distribution Sales team for the distribution of Disney’s portfolio of networks; including ESPN, ABC, Disney Channel, & FX.

This team is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst who will support analysis, distribution deals and planning across the Networks business with a focus on ABC/Disney Entertainment (DETV).

Primary Responsibilities

Prepares quarter-end reporting, forecasting, annual operating plan (AOP), long-range plan (LRP) and variance analysis for DETV linear network affiliate revenue

Experience working with financial models with a primary focus on identifying changes in trends in the media distribution marketplace, interpreting the impact of these trends, and planning the resulting impact to affiliate revenue in the short and long term.

Supports the ABC Non-Owned business forecast, planning, and deal support, working closely with the Platform Distribution strategy team

Develops and prepares key presentation materials used to communicate financial plans and associated risks and opportunities

Manages the consolidation of quarter-close, forecast, AOP, and LRP variances, risks & opportunities, as well as standard data requests

Works with leaders across TWDC on ad-hoc analysis

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics

2+ years of relevant work experience

Strong analytical skills, and ability to manage large pools of data

Comfortable working with and navigating financial modelsfor forecasting and analysis

Advanced technical skills with a variety of applications / systems including Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint

Excellent written and verbal communication skills to interact at all levels of the organization. Ability to produce concise, effective, and visually appealing presentations

Strong intellectual curiosity and ability to think outside-the-box specifically as it relates to the distribution strategy of Disney’s media assets

Proactive and creative in approaching problem-solving

Deliverable-focused, strong work ethic, able to prioritize across multiple projects

MBA or CPA preferred

Oracle experience preferred

Previous work experience in corporate financial planning and analysis and/or in the entertainment industry is a plus
