Together, we are building a better world, so we can all enjoy living in it.Solar Turbines Package Refurbishment and Upgrades department searches for Project Support Sales Order Administrator (SOA) responsible for processing a Windchill Bill of Material into a service order so that planners and buyers can procure the required project hardware in support of the customer shipment date. The Sales Order Administrator tracks project parts availability and develops recovery plans for parts that do not support build, test, or shipping dates. In addition, the SOA provides parts updates to Project Managers, ensuring there is a plan to ship the project either with complete parts or with shortages identified. The SOA also works with Global Trade Compliance to assign tariff codes and classifications to parts.The SOA is responsible for uploading pricing into BAAN to support project commercial invoices for international project shipments and provides complete and accurate packing and crating definitions to the Shipping and Logistics teams.The SOA works closely with the Factory Precommissioning (FPC) team to support parts and systems that will be used during testing.The SOA also has responsibility for working with the Packing team to coordinate material releases for packing in order to meet project Readiness‑to‑Ship requirements.
