You will leverage your Capital Markets expertise and technical skillset to develop and communicate business insights and market trends to TCM leadership and external stakeholders. You will work closely with the trading desk and other market professionals, serving as a subject matter expert in securitized products, synthesizing complex technical concepts, and presenting analytical insights to deepen understanding. This role requires a blend of analytical rigor, market knowledge, and communication excellence to influence outcomes across the Enterprise and secondary market ecosystem.**THE IMPACT YOU WILL MAKE**The Capital Markets – Market Transactions – Lead Associate role offers the flexibility to shape your day while working alongside a collaborative team committed to shared success to help you deliver on the following responsibilities:* Monitor market activity and research to identify emerging trends with implications for Fannie Mae and communicate them to internal and external stakeholders.* Design and perform analytical research using proprietary and public data in support of TCM objectives.* Develop high-visibility analytical tools and reports that provide insights into market trends or enhance business efficiency.* Build and maintain strong relationships with the TCM trading desk and secondary mortgage market participants to strengthen market knowledge and connectivity.* Collaborate across Fannie Mae business units and functions to inform decision-making and advocate for TCM objectives.**THE EXPERIENCE YOU BRING TO THE TEAM****Minimum Required Experience:*** At least 4 years of experience, preferably in Capital Markets, finance, consulting, or strategy* Strong knowledge of securitized products and the fixed income Capital Markets* Proficiency in SQL, R, and/or Python for data analysis and process automation* Strong written and oral communication skills and ability to convey complex concepts to varied audiences* Strong quantitative and analytical skills with excellent attention to detail* Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)* Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau and/or Power BI* Familiarity with and passion for macroeconomic trends and financial markets* Self-driven, high level of accountability, strong work ethic, and a dedication to excellence**Desired Experience:*** Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent, preferably in finance, economics, statistics, or computer science* Familiarity with primary and secondary mortgage markets* Experience with statistical modeling, security pricing, and risk analysis for fixed income products* Experience with Bloomberg, YieldBook, and/or IntexSalary Target: $141,000 - $184,000 a yearCapital Markets - Market Transactions - Lead AssociateQualificationsEducation:Bachelor's Level Degree (Required)The future is what you make it to be.
