Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role located in Petersburg, VA, for a Golf Course Mechanic. The Golf Course Mechanic will be responsible for maintaining and repairing golf course equipment, including mowers, utility vehicles, and other machinery. Responsibilities include troubleshooting mechanical issues, conducting preventative maintenance, assisting with irrigation systems, and ensuring equipment functions effectively to maintain optimal course conditions. The Golf Course Mechanic will collaborate with team members to support the smooth operation of the golf course. Qualifications Experience with Golf Course Equipment, basic mechanical repair, and troubleshooting Knowledge of irrigation systems and maintenance techniques Strong communication skills to work efficiently within a team setting Customer service skills to interact effectively with staff and members Ability to operate and maintain a variety of golf-specific equipment safely Prior experience in golf course maintenance or similar roles is preferred Demonstrated ability to work in outdoor environments and handle physical tasks
