Summary:
Griffin Law LLC is looking for a highly motivated, experienced Real Estate Paralegal/Office Administrator to assist attorneys in the Real Estate Department of our Boston office with all aspects of residential and commercial real estate transactions. Responsibilities
Assist Attorneys on a daily basis Work closely with attorneys, lenders, real estate agents, and clients to ensure timely, accurate closings Work closely with attorneys in pre- and post-closing matters Order and review title abstracts, surveys and tax certificates Calendar critical dates for transactions Maintain organized physical and electronic files Prepare document packages for closing Draft closing documents, POA’s, consents, certificates, closing statements, and attend to all other aspects of real estate transactions Following the closing, maintain schedule of post-closing items and track mortgage discharges Contacts clients and other transaction parties to facilitate the timely completion of the closing Education and/or Experience
Completion of a B.A./B.S. degree Minimum 5 years of experience with real estate closings –

Familiarity with Qualia software is required. Familiarity with NetDocs and Clio is preferred Ability to read and comprehend instructions, complex documents, correspondence and memos. Ability to draft correspondence and to effectively present information in various situations. Strong communication and interpersonal skills: Demonstrates effective teamwork, communication and prioritizes and anticipates work needs. Must be able to work well under occasional periods of pressure and short deadlines. Ability to organize and prioritize numerous tasks and complete them under time constraints. Ability to concentrate and pay close attention to detail when evaluating legal matters. Ability to proofread typed material for contextual, grammatical, or spelling errors. Interpersonal skills to communicate in person, by e-mail and telephone and follow instructions effectively from a diverse group of clients and attorneys Work requires a high level of focus and mental alertness while organizing and maintaining multiple matters.
