We are seeking a detail-oriented
Purchasing Specialist
to support daily procurement and supply chain operations. This role will workclosely with the Central SCM team to manage purchasing activities, vendorcoordination, inventory tracking, and demand planning across multipledistribution centers.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities
Supportdaily purchasing activities including PO creation, tracking, and vendorcommunication
Assist in sourcing foodingredients and packaging materials aligned with quality and cost targets
Maintain purchase orders,vendor files, and inventory records
Coordinate delivery scheduleswith warehouse and logistics teams
Monitor inventory levels andsupport cycle counts and reconciliations
Provide administrative andreporting support to the SCM team
Consolidate order data from CAand NJ distribution centers
Conduct demand analysis andcoordinate with manufacturing to align production schedules
Qualifications
Associate’sor Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field
Minimum 3 years of professionalexperience (procurement or supply chain experience preferred)
Strong organizational andmultitasking skills
Excellent written and verbalcommunication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Strong attention to detail andproblem-solving ability
Analytical and negotiationskills
Ability to work independentlyand collaboratively
Occasional travel required forsupplier meetings
