Tasks

The Volunteer & Community Engagement Coordinator is responsible for recruiting, training, and supporting volunteers while building strong relationships with community partners. This role strengthens organizational impact by fostering meaningful volunteer experiences, coordinating outreach initiatives, and promoting active community involvement. Key Responsibilities Recruit, screen, onboard, and train volunteers Coordinate volunteer schedules, assignments, and program logistics Serve as the primary point of contact for volunteers and community partners Develop and implement community engagement and outreach initiatives Maintain accurate volunteer records and track participation metrics Plan and support community events, service projects, and outreach activities Recognize and retain volunteers through engagement and appreciation efforts Collaborate with internal teams to align volunteer activities with program goals Ensure compliance with organizational policies, safety standards, and best practices Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Nonprofit Management, Communications, or a related field. Minimum of 2 years experience in volunteer coordination or community engagement roles. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage diverse groups. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with donor management software. Benefits
