Skills and Competencies

12+ years of business-to-business sales experience within the Life Sciences & Healthcare (LSH) sector, or experience partnering with LSH consultancy practices

Proven ability to manage complex sales cycles using consultative selling techniques

Strong capability to build internal influence and drive change across partnership teams; experience with Big 5 LSH partners is a plus

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to deliver compelling presentations and engage senior executives

Deep understanding of global financial services market dynamics and customer business drivers

Ability to work independently and collaboratively with strong attention to detail

Education

Bachelor’s degree in business, economics, finance, marketing, or related fields

Responsibilities Drive strategic sales activity, manage complex sales cycles, and deliver value-driven relationship management for clients in the LSH sector.

Build and execute sales strategies to exceed annual revenue targets aligned with business objectives

Identify and qualify new prospects while managing the full sales cycle from initiation through closure

Develop business opportunities within assigned territories, collaborating with Solution Specialists to prepare proposals and deliver targeted product demonstrations

Partner with Product Management and Product Strategy to improve product offerings and support new revenue generation initiatives

Build strong client relationships by assessing business challenges, identifying gaps, and recommending appropriate solutions

Deliver high-quality customer service, including tailored product overviews and strategic guidance

Introduce additional products and services to clients based on identified needs and opportunities

Serve as a subject‑matter expert throughout the sales cycle, providing market context and product use cases

Act as a liaison among client service teams, clients, and implementation teams to ensure seamless execution of service engagements

Coordinate responses to client and prospect requests for product or service information

Represent the company at industry conferences and internal/external events

Assist in training new team members and contribute to internal market intelligence distribution

Provide accurate pipeline updates and sales forecasts to management

Travel approximately 20%–40% of the time

About the Team Our team is responsible for driving revenue growth by delivering strategic sales solutions and long‑term client partnerships. We contribute by expanding market presence within key sectors such as Life Sciences & Healthcare, supporting innovation and product enhancements through client feedback and strengthening client relationships that drive sustained business performance. By joining our team, you will play a critical role in advancing Moody’s strategic goals across global markets.

For US‑based roles only: the anticipated hiring base salary range for this position is $135,700.00‑$196,750.00, depending on factors such as experience, education, level, skills, and location. This range is based on a full‑time position. In addition to base salary, this role is eligible for incentive compensation. Moody’s also offers a competitive benefits package, including not but limited to medical, dental, vision, parental leave, paid time off, a 401(k) plan with employee and company contribution opportunities, life, disability, and accident insurance, a discounted employee stock purchase plan, and tuition reimbursement.
