**Job Description:**Experienced Analyst – Investment Banking, Equity Capital MarketsGuggenheim SecuritiesPosition Summary·Guggenheim Securities (“GS”) is seeking an exceptional, experienced Analyst to join its Equity Capital Markets Investment Banking group located in New York or Boston.The Equity Capital Markets (ECM) group is responsible for originating and executing public and private equity and equity-linked offerings in partnership with the investment banking coverage teams. At Guggenheim, the ECM team is focused on the origination and execution of public equity transactions, including Initial Public Offerings, Follow-on Offerings, Confidentially-Marketed Public Offerings, Registered Directs, and PIPEs as well as SPACs, Convertible Offerings and other equity-linked products. Members of the ECM team work with clients to identify capital needs and to determine the optimal structure and execution strategy to best meet the issuer’s objectives.We are seeking an Experienced Analyst to join our ECM team in the New York City or Boston offices.

We are seeking bright, highly motivated individuals with solid equity, equity-linked and/or market knowledge coupled with strong excel and presentation skills.Essential Job Functions* Analyze industry and company-specific information, including analyses of issuer client businesses, financial statements and precedent transactions* Work directly with the group's senior professionals through all aspects of client engagements (including ad-hoc client analyses, new client origination, deal preparation and deal execution)* Demonstrate product expert knowledge with equity and equity-linked transaction types* Develop a familiarity with equity and equity-linked investors across transaction types and sectors* Create professional pitch presentations and marketing materials* Analyze large data sets and financial models to make informed decisions and recommendations* Liaise with senior bankers, investors, corporate clients, lawyers and accountantsPreferred Qualifications* Minimum of 1 year of investment banking, consulting and/or capital markets related experience* Strong knowledge of corporate finance, global markets and financial products* Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel). Experience with FactSet, CapitalIQ and Bloomberg preferred* Significant level of maturity and the ability to work as a team interfacing with top company executives and senior management* Impeccable attention to detail* Strong written and oral communication skills* Self-directed, highly motivated, and able to work independently and accurately across multiple ongoing projectsBasic Qualifications* Requires a minimum of a Bachelor's degree* SIE Exam, Series 7, Series 79 and Series 63 must be acquired within 150 days of employmentWork Location * Currently, this role is expected to be in the New York / Boston office at least 4 days per week.Salary·Annual base salary between $110,000 and $125,000.The base salary range represents the low and high end of the anticipated base salary range for this position. Actual base salaries may vary depending on factors such as location and experience.
