Our client, an industry leader in financial services, is seeking a Compliance Specialist to join their team. As a Compliance Specialist, you will be part of the Control Management Risk ID, Assessment, Testing and Reporting team supporting operational risk management initiatives. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and proactive communication abilities, which will align successfully in the organization.

Pay Range $37.5

What's the Job?

Identify and assess operational risks across business processes and systems in collaboration with process owners.

Facilitate risk assessments such as Risk Control Self Assessments (RCSA) and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.

Lead control monitoring activities and communicate key operational risk trends to senior management for informed decision‑making.

Conduct independent quality assurance and process testing to proactively identify high‑risk areas requiring intervention.

Develop and maintain risk dashboards, key risk indicators (KRIs), and risk profiles to support ongoing risk monitoring and reporting.

What's Needed?

Experience in risk management, compliance, or control functions within a financial or related industry.

Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and identify trends.

Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration and reporting.

Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.

Knowledge of regulatory requirements and internal control frameworks.
