As a Field Merchandiser you will work independently to showcase Hallmark products, build retailer relationships, and optimize product placement across various retail stores. You will support local store teams with inventory management, seasonal resets, and installations.
Salary and Schedule:
Your starting hourly pay will be
$16.00 – $18.00
depending on skills and experience.
This is a Part‑Time position with a variable weekly schedule.
Average weekly hours:
7 – 14 hours per week .
Availability during the week before and after major holidays, including weekends, is required.
Your Role and Responsibilities:
Day‑to‑day engagement:
Use the Hallmark mobile device to restock, organize, and monitor Hallmark products. Maintain the entire Hallmark product display at each assigned store.
Holiday support:
Provide additional hours and days during key holiday periods (Valentine’s Day, Easter, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and the holidays themselves).
Department resets:
Assist with installing, relocating, and resetting Hallmark fixtures and card sections, often on evenings or weekends with two‑week advance notice.
Team collaboration:
Work as part of Hallmark’s field organization and support other merchandisers as needed.
Physical Requirements:
This is a physically demanding role requiring the ability to lift, pull, push, and carry merchandise up to 30 pounds frequently and up to 50 pounds occasionally. You must be able to kneel, squat, walk, stand, and occasionally climb stairs or ladders throughout the workday. A strong sense of urgency and high energy are essential.
Basic Qualifications:
At least 18 years old.
Reading, writing, and understanding English.
Physical ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds frequently and 50 pounds occasionally.
Operate a digital handheld device to read and interpret information.
Access to Wi‑Fi and the internet.
Consistent transportation to travel to assigned stores as scheduled.
