Technical Writer – Service Manual Migration
We are seeking a detail‑oriented Technical Writer to rewrite and modernize an existing service manual and user manual currently authored in Frame. This role will focus on migrating content to LaTeX while improving clarity, structure, and usability for both technical and non‑technical audiences. The Technical Writer will work closely with subject matter experts to ensure accuracy and consistency throughout the documentation.

Key Responsibilities

Rewrite and restructure service and user manuals currently written in Frame

Migrate documentation to LaTeX while maintaining formatting, accuracy, and version control

Improve clarity, consistency, and readability of technical content

Collaborate with engineers, product teams, and other stakeholders to validate content

Ensure documentation aligns with organizational style guides and standards

Required Skills & Qualifications

Experience as a Technical Writer supporting technical or engineering documentation

Hands‑on experience with FrameMaker and LaTeX

Strong writing, editing, and content organization skills

Ability to understand and translate complex technical information into clear documentation

Attention to detail and strong revision control practices
