Vice President of Education & Industry Relations

IDDBA is seeking a strategic, collaborative Vice President of Education & Industry Relations to lead the development and delivery of high-value education programs and industry engagement initiatives serving both manufacturer and retail members across the Dairy, Deli, and Bakery sectors.
This senior leadership role oversees education strategy, industry partnerships, and a team of five professionals, while serving as a key member of the Executive Leadership Team.
What You’ll Do
Lead IDDBA’s education and industry relations strategy, aligning programs with member needs and organizational goals.
Oversee education offerings including live events, publications, professional development, and industry initiatives.
Build and maintain strong relationships with industry leaders, partners, and stakeholders.
Represent IDDBA at industry events, conferences, and meetings.
Manage and develop a high-performing team (Industry Relations, Education Coordinators, and administrative support).
ate cross-functionally with Events, Marketing, Membership, and Operations teams.
Develop, Direct, & promote a dynamic team of industry professionals in the creation & execution of our What’s In Store Live concept & venue.
Support revenue-generating education and engagement initiatives.
Manage departmental budgets and ensure programs are delivered on time and within budget.
What We’re Looking For
Bachelor’s Degree or 5+ years of progressive leadership experience in education, industry relations, or member engagement.
Experience in nonprofit, trade association, or industry-related environments strongly preferred.
Proven ability to lead teams, manage programs, and build trusted industry relationships.
Strategic thinker with strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
