Description & Requirements Maximus is on the lookout for a dedicated and empathetic Bilingual Customer Service Representative to assist individuals navigating the Medicaid, SNAP (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program), and TANF (Temporary Assistance for Needy Families) application processes. In this fully remote role, you will serve as the first point of contact, providing vital information and support to applicants. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Provide informed and objective responses to complex inquiries regarding eligibility guidelines and policies. Effectively manage all forms of inbound and outbound communications. Process workflow documents including income, identity, and other eligibility verification documents. Integrate new policy and procedure knowledge to assist clients effectively. Guide applicants through the Medicaid, SNAP, and TANF application processes with clarity. Deliver accurate information on program eligibility criteria. Ensure exceptional customer service by addressing client concerns with professionalism. Document interactions and applications while utilizing multiple systems for eligibility processing. Maintain a high standard of confidentiality throughout all interactions. Minimum Requirements: High school diploma or GED required; 1+ years of relevant professional experience, or equivalent education and experience. Fluency in English and Spanish is required. Experience in a high-volume call center is highly preferred. Familiarity with Medicaid, SNAP, or TANF or similar government programs is a plus. Strong computer skills are required, including proficiency with call center software, Microsoft Office, and CRM tools. Ability to work independently in a remote environment is essential. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required. Empathy and sensitivity, particularly in interactions with vulnerable populations, is preferred. Must be willing to start on February 18th, 2026. Must be prepared to work as a limited-service employee. Must be available for a 6-week training program on camera with no absences, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm EST, Monday to Friday. Must be able to work full-time during operational hours (8:00 am - 7:30 pm EST Monday-Friday, 9:00 am - 12:00 pm EST Saturday). Residence in Eastern (EST) or Central (CST) time zones is preferred. Home Office Requirements: Internet speed of 25mbps or higher is required. Wired connectivity via Wi-Fi or ethernet cable to the home router is necessary. Must currently reside in the Continental US.
