ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES The Client Relations & Sales Associate plays a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere for members and guests by providing exceptional customer service. Your interactions will significantly impact member satisfaction and contribute to our overall success in sales and retention. CUSTOMER SERVICE Deliver an outstanding member experience by providing top-notch service to everyone who visits the club. Handle phone inquiries and assist guests and members with questions about memberships, services, and billing. Facilitate new member enrollments by thoroughly explaining the terms of our membership options. Respond promptly to member feedback and complaints, escalating issues to management as needed. Communicate current promotions and services effectively to enhance member engagement. CLUB OPERATIONS Maintain a spotless Welcome Desk and ensure that it is always inviting for our members. Efficiently check in members and manage routine service tasks using our club systems, including online accounts, password resets, and more. Support management with administrative duties such as billing calls and appointment confirmations. Consistently arrive on time and in the proper uniform to uphold our brand standards. Conduct facility walkthroughs as directed to ensure optimal presentation and comfort for our members. Report any maintenance or equipment issues observed during your shifts. Adhere to all club policies, procedures, and guidelines, including employee handbooks. Stay vigilant about loss prevention matters to guarantee member safety. POSITION REQUIREMENTS & EXPERIENCE At least 1 year of direct customer service experience, ideally in a gym or retail setting. Certification in Child & Adult AED/CPR. Proficient in using our POS and membership systems, as well as other necessary computer applications. Proven experience working effectively in a team environment. Skilled in addressing member issues with professionalism and empathy. Strong communication and interpersonal abilities. Capability to stand for long periods at the Welcome Desk and work on a computer. Physical requirements include the ability to lift up to 20 pounds, navigate the club, climb stairs, and perform some bending or lifting duties (like restacking weights or moving equipment). The company may modify job requirements as needed to meet business needs.
