Job Summary
Our client is seeking a dedicated Team Representative to join the Member Experience team. The primary focus is to alleviate administrative burdens from members by handling customer service inquiries and answering questions regarding benefits, eligibility, and more.
Key Responsibilities
Assist members by answering customer service inquiries related to insurance benefits, eligibility, and claims. Provide detailed explanations on deductibles, coinsurance, and out-of-pocket amounts. Effectively address provider calls, focusing on claims and benefit discussions, including cost-share estimations. Qualifications
Approximately 3 years of insurance customer service experience. High-level understanding of claims and claims follow-up. Experience with Explanation of Benefits (EOB) and eligibility. Strong phone and written communication skills. Preference for candidates with commercial health insurance experience. Skills
Strong communication skills, both phone and written. Requirement to provide their own second monitor, mouse, headset, and desk. Secure, private workspace setup to protect personal health information. Secure Wi-Fi with a backup internet solution, such as a mobile hotspot. Additional Requirements
New tech/environment requirements including providing own equipment and internet solutions. Benefits
Paid Sick Leave (Medix provides paid sick leave according to state and local sick leave ordinances). Eligibility for health benefits is based on verifying that an average of 30 hours per week during the first 4 weeks of the work assignment has been met.
