Own exception management across cash, positions, trades, and margintriage, investigate, resolve breaks, and drive durable fixes. Act as the Operations/Product liaison for new product development and launchesdefine operational requirements, edge cases, and control needs. Lead operational readiness for launchesUAT/test case design and execution, playbooks/runbooks, cutover plans, and post-launch stabilization. Partner with Product, Risk, Compliance, Accounting, and Engineering to design processes, controls, and reporting that scale and meet regulatory expectations. Establish monitoring and exception reporting (SLAs, KPIs, dashboards) and run incident/bug triage with clear escalation paths. Perform root cause analysis and drive post-mortems, translating learnings into product and process improvements. Identify and implement automation/tooling (self-serve, low-code, or via Engineering) to reduce operational friction and manual work. Job Requirements
3+ years of experience in the financial or tech industry; combination of FCM and broker-dealer experience with emphasis on Operations, Accounting, or Project Management. Demonstrated strength in exception-based operations: analytical problem solving, prioritization, and escalation/judgment. Comfortable navigating and executing across multiple operational functions. Product launch and operational readiness experience (requirements gathering, UAT, playbooks, go-live support). Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) and effective business partnering across functions. Project management skills with the ability to deliver in a dynamic, fast-moving environment. Strong work ethic and a collaborative, ownership mindset. Knowledge of investments and interest in blockchain/cryptocurrency. Basic understanding of listed derivatives and their unique characteristics. Pay Transparency Notice: Depending on your work location, the target annual base salary for this position can range as detailed below. Full time offers from Coinbase also include bonus eligibility + equity eligibility + benefits (including medical, dental, vision and 401(k)). Base salary range shown.
