divh2Senior Vice President, Commercial Banking - Innovation/Tech ABL/h2pDenver, CO/ph3What Youll Do:/h3pAs a Commercial Banker III youll be responsible for identifying a target market for new business and subsequently developing and establishing a book of new business from those relationships. Key responsibilities include negotiating, underwriting, and coordinating the closing of a variety of major and complex loans in compliance with the Banks lending policies and procedures; develops business checking and deposit relationships with customers. Youll also be responsible for assisting clients with deposit related products and services, as well as gathering and analyzing client information to recommend appropriate deposit product solutions. The ideal candidate will have an interest in working with venture-backed technology companies./pulliCompile and analyze market research data to develop recommendations regarding products and services focused on needs of target market./liliEngage in business development activities and solicitation of new business based on the target market./liliCollaborate closely with treasury partner to ensure seamless client experiences./liliCall and visit target customers to promote and sell Bank products and services to establish a new book of business./liliDevelop and maintain customer data base including calls and results on all new business relationships. Make reports to superiors as required./liliInterview prospective applicants and requests specified information related to loan or credit application; correspond or re-interview applicants to resolve questions regarding application information./liliPerform basic pre-qualification assessment and analysis of financial condition and risk of financing requests within framework of Bank credit culture and current economic and industry trends./liliGather all information necessary to present a financing request to senior management or Loan Committee for approval; meet with new/potential customers; visit sites of loans; negotiate loan terms and conditions; refer and recommend acceptance to the Chief Credit Officer or Loan Committee./liliCoordinate processing of approved loans; ensure loans are processed according to agreement, customer needs and conform to Bank lending policies; obtain sufficient information and/or documentation from customers; solve problems relative to processing and servicing of loans within the Relationship Managers portfolio./liliMaintain a superior knowledge of financial industry status and trends./liliRecommend to senior management those products and services experiencing less than satisfactory performance./liliRepresent the Bank in various community, civic, and community reinvestment functions to further enhance the Banks image and develop additional business; assist the Bank in establishing and maintaining market position in the financing arena./li/ulh3What Youll Need:/h3ulli8+ years of related experience./liliBachelors degree or equivalent experience required./liliAdvanced knowledge of general banking operations, including deposit operations, loan administration, treasury management and/or other commercial banking products and services./liliAdvanced knowledge of applicable regulatory and legal compliance obligations, rules and regulations, industry standards and practices./liliAdvanced knowledge in all facets of relationship management./liliAdvanced organizational and time management skills./liliAdvanced speaking and writing communication skills./liliMay require up to 50% travel./li/ulpCompensation: Salary range for new hires is generally $191,835.00 - $236,971.00 for San Francisco, CA. Salary range for new hires is generally $181,270.00 - $223,920.00 for Denver, CO. Salary range for new hires is generally $191,835.00 - $236,971.00 for New York, NY.
