divh2Enterprise Service Desk Specialist/h2pTEKsystems is seeking an Enterprise Service Desk Specialist to support a federal government client on site in New Orleans, LA. Candidates MUST have an active secret clearance and a valid CompTIA Security+CE certification. As an Enterprise Service Desk Specialist you will play a critical role in supporting one of the worlds largest IT networks. Responsibilities fall into three categories:/pp1.) Tier 1 Support:/pulliServe as the initial point of contact for IT-related problems./liliProvide phone and online support to users./liliPerform troubleshooting and resolve technical issues./liliFollow escalation protocols as necessary./li/ulp2.) Health and Status Monitoring:/pulliMonitor the health and status of the networks./liliDocument and communicate outage information to co-workers and customers./li/ulp3.) Ticket Management:/pulliExecute scripts./liliOpen and close tickets./liliCorrelate events and incidents for management of Information Technology (IT) services./li/ulpCommon tasks could include: password resets within Active Directory, Internet Browser troubleshooting, Layer 1 Network Connectivity -- Troubleshooting, DNS/IP address troubleshooting, root cause analysis of on-going issues, email/exchange issues, application install/troubleshooting, printer/network drive mapping, telephony issues, desktop workstation issues, etc./ppTop Skills:/pulliCompleted and valid Security+CE+/liliActive Secret Clearance/lili0-4 Years of IT Experience (A Bachelors Degree can be used in lieu to replace 4 YRS of experience)/liliOpenness and willingness to support an in-bound service desk/call center operation/liliExperience with ITSM (Ticketing System)/li/ulpEligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
