Childcare Regional Director Healthy Kids Programs

Location:

Collingswood Early Childhood Center, Collingswood, NJ; Parkview PreSchool, Collingswood, NJ; Quinton Elementary School, Quinton, NJ; Cape May City Elementary School, Cape May, NJ; Elsinboro Township, Salem, NJ. This role requires travel to multiple locations within the region.

Compensation & Hours Pay:

$45,000.00 – $50,000.00 per year

Responsibilities

Manage all aspects of Before/After School and Summer Camp Programs with a special focus on recruiting, supervising, training, and developing a highly qualified staff.

Ensure operations comply with New Jersey State Daycare, Before/After School, and Summer Camp regulations.

Apply Healthy Kids Best Practices and Curriculum to deliver consistent excellence.

Maintain a warm, nurturing, safe environment and execute effective classroom management and parent communication.

Proactively identify and resolve operational and personnel issues, providing timely performance feedback.

Collaborate with Senior Regional and Executive Directors to continuously improve programs.

Participate in weekly/monthly leadership meetings and executive staff meetings (Google Meets or in person).

Communicate organization policies, objectives, priorities, and budget limitations to area coordinators and site directors.

Manage payroll and finance responsibilities, including working closely with Registration staff on enrollment and paperwork.

Work with Marketing to develop program information for website and social media.

Build and maintain positive relationships with school principals, administrators, custodial staff, DCF, Childcare Councils, and other stakeholders.

Support regional growth by implementing new programs as they become available.

Maintain adherence to company Code of Conduct, policies, procedures, and New Jersey State guidelines.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree (Early Childhood Education or equivalent).

Familiarity with NJ State Childcare regulations preferred.

At least 5 years of supervisory experience, including 1 year managing staff in a childcare setting; business management experience preferred.

Superior administrative and supervisory skills in a consumer‑driven environment.

Excellent customer service and parent communication skills.

Team‑oriented and collaborative approach to workplace culture.

Commitment to delivering high‑quality programs while managing personnel expenses.

Background check and fingerprinting required; must pass reference checks.

Medically fit to perform job duties.

Professional, reliable, prompt, warm, friendly, caring, and upbeat personality.

Excellent time‑management skills.
