Tax Staff

to join a fast-growing, innovative professional advisory firm working with individuals and closely held businesses. The candidate will mainly prepare individual and business (flow-through) tax returns and coordinate with client support staff.

Responsibilities

Prepare individual and business tax returns at varying levels of complexity Review tax information supplied by the client and open items as needed Communicate with Pod, Seniors, Supervisors, Managers and Partner on work status and client issues Ensure deliverable deadlines are met Research new tax trends and regulations

Requirements

1-2 years with a public accounting firm preparing individual and business income tax returns Bachelor\'s degree in accounting, finance, or related field Strong attention to detail Integrity within a professional environment

Preferences

Experience with CCH Axcess tax, CCH Pfx Engagement, and QuickBooks Seeking or obtained EA or CPA certification
