Fidelity National Title is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Commercial Escrow Assistant to join our Denver team. This role supports Commercial Escrow Officers throughout all stages of complex real estate transactions, from opening new orders through post-closing documentation. This role sits onsite at our Denver, CO office. Duties & Responsibilities
Open new escrow orders and manage files through the entire transaction lifecycle, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company standards Review and scrub title commitments to identify and track outstanding requirements, working closely with clients and internal partners to clear title and resolve issues Communicate regularly with clients, lenders, brokers, attorneys, and internal teams to provide updates and ensure all documents and funds are received for closing Coordinate with the assigned Escrow Officer to prepare settlement statements, collect and disburse funds, and ensure timely and accurate closings Handle incoming deposits, approve outgoing wires and checks, and maintain accurate escrow accounting records Prepare final closing packages, ensure all post-closing documentation is completed, and manage file retention per company policy Maintain proactive task management and follow-up to ensure deadlines and client expectations are consistently met Contribute to a collaborative, solutions-oriented team culture focused on client satisfaction and transaction accuracy Minimum Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent required Requires 3+ years of experience as a Commercial/Residential Escrow Officer or Assistant Strong understanding of escrow processes, title requirements, and real estate transaction documentation Proficiency in Microsoft Office and related title/escrow software systems Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a client-focused approach High attention to detail and accuracy with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment Strong organizational and problem-solving skills; proactive in follow-up and task completion Self-starter who works well independently and as part of a team Preferred Experience
Experience supporting complex or multi-site commercial transactions Familiarity with mail-away closings and disbursement procedures Proven ability to manage multiple transactions while maintaining composure and accuracy under pressure Previous experience working with Fidelity National Title or another national title underwriter Compensation & Benefits
This position has the potential to earn compensation in the range of $26.00 - $33.00 per hour plus additional commissions based on location and job-related factors such as skillset and experience. Actual rate may vary within the range provided, depending on a number of factors, including skillset, experience and location. The base compensation is one component of the total rewards package offered to our employees, including optional health and welfare insurance (medical/dental/vision/life/disability); paid holidays, vacation, and sick time off; and matching 401(k) plan and matching employee stock purchase plan.
