About the Role Compensation: $19.00 -$21.00 an hour + Quarterly bonus potential + Commissions
(Final compensation will be determined based experience, skills, and qualifications.)
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 9am-6pm
A Leasing Consultant is responsible for managing and coordinating the leasing process for their Roundhouse property. They act as the first point of contact for prospective tenants, providing information about the property, showing units, qualifying prospects, and preparing lease agreements.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as first point of contact for prospects: welcome visitors, answer questions, and verify eligibility.
Maintain strong resident relations: address concerns, ensure satisfaction, and promote retention.
Conduct daily community inspections, ensuring tour paths, models, amenities, and common areas are well maintained.
Prepare and process notices to vacate, renewals, service requests, applications, move-ins/outs, transfers, and roommate changes.
Achieve community goals, including occupancy, renewals, and turn times, while maintaining at least a 35% rental closing ratio.
Manage resident communication channels and maintain accurate CRM records.
Stay informed on local market trends; complete monthly market surveys and recommend competitive pricing to Community Manager.
Support marketing initiatives and alert management of local opportunities.
Assist in planning and hosting resident events and activities.
Maintain accurate, organized resident and vendor files.
Demonstrate teamwork, professionalism, and a commitment to excellence.
Follow all safety procedures as outlined in the Employee Handbook, SOPs, and safety labels on all equipment.
Ensure compliance with Fair Housing laws, safety procedures, and company policies.
Represent the company positively in all interactions.
Requirements Qualifications Required
High school diploma or GED required.
Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and Outlook.
Strong sales and customer service skills.
Strong desire to lead in your role and the local community.
Strong written and oral communication skills.
Occasional travel between properties may be required.
Preferred
Minimum of two years of sales experience is highly preferred.
Minimum of one year of experience in onsite multi-family housing preferred.
Experience with property management software preferred (Yardi Voyager, RentCafe, AIRM, LEO, Appwork, and CRM).
Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
