We are hiring a Technical Designer for a top fashion intimates company in NYC. This position requires a minimum of 5-7+ years of experience in Technical Design of bras and panties. This is a 3 month contract.
Hourly pay range is $45.00-47.00 per hour based on experience.
Responsibilities
Individual contributor position responsible for executing the technical design process from development to final fit. Responsible for analyzing and evaluating garments to develop the correct fit specifications. Ensures that products are developed in a manner consistent with established fit quality, standards, manufacturer capabilities and cost specifications. Develops technical specifications and communicates fit to vendors/factories for approvals and corrections. Makes appropriate adjustments with factories as required to ensure integrity of design approved prototypes while monitoring quality and targeted price. Typically reports to Technical Services Manager. Typically directs Assistant or Associate Technical Designers. Required Qualifications
5-7+ years experience in technical design with intimates/apparel Looking for resources that have participated or owned their own fittings, can write up fit comments & pattern correction, have centric training, excel/illustrator/Flex PLM etc. Bachelor's degree in Fashion, or equivalent experience.
