As a Business Banking Leader, SBA Specialist, you will actively pursue business relationships for NBH Bank, providing a full range of banking services with an emphasis on SBA loans and deposit products. Your goal is to earn 100% of the client’s relationship and proactively call on clients, prospects, and referral sources to maximize results. You will acquire, expand, and retain business banking relationships, focus on deposit, treasury, and SBA lending growth, and participate in community and business functions to enhance the bank’s image.
Responsibilities
Critically review, analyze, and structure SBA conventional business loans.
Monitor loan portfolio performance by maintaining contact with borrowers and resolving issues promptly.
Promote the Bank’s image in the community through events, development efforts, and public relations.
Identify market trends that can create new partnership opportunities.
Create, train, and coach a successful sales team focused on total client financial needs and market share growth.
Maintain and enhance client satisfaction and service quality while fostering collaboration among associates.
Ensure ongoing compliance with regulations such as BSA and OFAC.
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or equivalent education and work experience.
Minimum 3 years of SBA business lending experience.
5 years of banking experience.
Minimum 5 years of successful business-to-business development experience.
Desired Qualifications
Minimum of 5 years of SBA business lending.
Minimum 5 years of banking experience.
Completion of bank training or formal credit training program.
Skills and Abilities
