Position Overview

Uses technical knowledge of product offerings to advise and support sales teams with pricing estimates and implementation guidance based on customer requirements. Analyzes customers' technical specifications, recommends the best product configuration and installation process, and estimates implementation effort, time, and resources. Role and Responsibilities

Design / develop custom proposal solutions based on current network architecture Evaluate future network technology while balancing system requirements and optimization of investment Develop engineering proposals to support Sales and Business Development, to include logical and technical diagrams, scope of work, cost, and growth models Create and deliver customer-facing presentations to support proposed solutions Produce maps and network diagrams for sales, customers, marketing, and other internal needs Travel required for customer support, trade shows, and other company requirements Collaborate with cross functional teams including Engineering, Operations, Finance and other departments as required Other duties as assigned Qualifications and Education Requirements

5+ years of sales engineering experience in the telecommunications or infrastructure industry Strong technical knowledge of network architecture and deployment of Carrier Ethernet Networks, Wave Services, and Dark Fiber Sales Can articulate the principles of MEF and Carrier Ethernet 2.0 Practical knowledge of fiber design, construction, and implementation in both Public and Private ROW Working technical knowledge in Co-location, OSP fiber design and Wave Services Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines for deliverables Strong problem-solving, influencing, and collaboration skills Proficient in Microsoft Suite products including Visio, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint and Google Maps
