Portfolio Strategist

OVERVIEW:

As a Portfolio Analyst you will have the opportunity to positively impact clients by supporting portfolio construction, internal & external communication, and trading for Ultra High Net Worth investors. Through your combined knowledge of investments and private wealth management, you will research and recommend investment strategies to Portfolio Strategists for use in client portfolios, incorporating the clients' goals, their comprehensive financial situation, and the investment insights developed by our in-house investment research team. You will collaborate with members of the Client Advisory team and other Tolleson teams regarding the investment platform and utilize sophisticated software for portfolio analysis and trading.

DUTIES And RESPONSIBILITIES

Conduct portfolio risk and return analysis to evaluate changes to current and prospective client portfolios, including equities, fixed income, hedge funds, and private market investments

Maintain deep knowledge of all investments on the approved platform and recommend ideas to Portfolio Strategists for client portfolios

Provide reviews and analysis of client directed investments

Provide analysis around concentrated securities, both diversifying and hedging

Provide portfolio updates and respond to inbound requests for information or analysis from internal stake holders including Trust Investment Committee and Client Advisory Team members

Assist in the development and execution of private investment programs, incorporating a blend of Tolleson proprietary vintage funds, Tolleson sourced direct investments, and client sourced direct investments

Create and review Investment Policy Statements and Trust Investment Committee Reviews

Assist in the investment onboarding of new client families

Maintain the processes for trading and rebalancing client portfolios

Assist the Portfolio Strategists in prospective client pursuits through RFP preparation and general investment presentations

Perform other duties and responsibilities as requested

Minimum Position Requirements

Undergraduate degree required, preferably in finance or financial planning

1-5 years of investment and/or wealth management industry experience

Progress towards the CFA and or CFP
