Grey Street Consulting, LLC (Grey Street), a leading small business provider of Human Resources operational support services to Federal civilian and defense agencies, is seeking to hire an Employee/Labor Relations and Investigation Support to support our clients within the Commodity Futures Trading Commission. CFTC is currently being performed in a hybrid capacity, reporting twice a week in the office. Candidates need to be agreeable to the possibility of the government returning staff full-time on-site in the future. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Investigations Conduct intake interviews with individuals, takes accurate notes, and confirms notes with reporting individual. Keeps reporting individual informed through the process. Conduct administrative inquiries into reports of harassment, workplace violence, hostile work environment, or other reports of misconduct or grievances. Interview witnesses and drafts individual statements or interview summaries reflecting the interview with the interviewee and obtain written confirmation from the interviewee that the statement/summary document is correct. Write administrative inquiry reports. The report must include background information, individual interviews, exhibit information, applicable CFTC policies, detailed findings, and conclusions. Generally, complete administrative inquiry and draft of report within 2 weeks upon receipt of necessary documentation (depending on complexity of case). Data Collection and Record Keeping Keep accurate records in office files and case management software and/or spreadsheets for all cases or matters worked on. Save all documents in appropriate file locations. Advice and Guidance Provide advice and guidance to CFTC supervisors and managers on issues related to harassment and workplace violence prevention, labor relations, and employee relations. Request for advice or guidance are generally acknowledged within 24 hours unless out of the office. Assess risk of actions taken by both management and employees, including risk of EEO implications. Advice is current and accurately reflects applicable law, regulations and CFTC policy. Ensure that advice follows CFTC guidelines and that employees’ rights to due process are provided. Outreach and Training Provide and/or coordinates outreach and training sessions, when needed, regarding the CFTC Anti-Harassment policy and reporting process, and other issues related to labor and employee relations (e.g., managing misconduct, performance, grievances, leave administration, reasonable accommodation). Prepare marketing materials, training presentations, guidance documents, toolkits, and anything else needed for outreach-related activities. Capability of learning additional software that may be required for the position. Job Requirements and Experience

Knowledge of a wide range of human resource management concepts, principles, practices, laws, and regulations related to concepts like: Federal labor and employee relations, anti-harassment, workplace violence prevention, equal employment opportunity/discrimination. Ability to conduct thorough administrative inquiries by applying investigative principles and techniques, drafting memos and writing reports. Written materials should be professional-level and be clear, concise, and at the appropriate level of details. Ability to draft disciplinary documents and memos. Ability to interact professionally and work collaboratively and productively with all levels of management and different types of employees. Ability to communicate orally and in writing. Knowledge of computer equipment, software, and applications such as Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and SharePoint and widely used video conference software such as Teams and Zoom. Ability to learn case management software quickly using a handbook or written instructions. ADA Requirements

Operate a PC and phone in an office environment. Work in a primarily sedentary position. Perform some bending, light lifting, and carrying of equipment may be required. Any additional office equipment that is required by the position.
