Asset Management Analyst

– property management support within a regional commercial real estate portfolio.

Overview Our client is a growing company in the property management space, overseeing a portfolio of commercial real estate assets across multiple Southeastern markets. They are seeking a driven, hands-on Asset Management Analyst to oversee property performance and support value-enhancing initiatives across the portfolio.

Salary $100k - $120k plus discretionary bonus.

Responsibilities

Manage property-level budgets, forecasts, and cash flow projections.

Oversee and support property managers to ensure consistent operational performance across assets.

Travel monthly to properties to review operations, projects, and performance in person.

Partner with Accounting to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.

Assist with CAM budgeting and reconciliations.

Prepare recurring performance reports for ownership.

Support and help execute value-add and performance improvement strategies.

Collaborate with Leasing teams and brokers, assisting with lease negotiations and tracking market trends.

Oversee capital improvement projects including building upgrades and tenant improvements.

Support lender reporting, funding draws, tax review efforts, and other asset-level operational needs.

Required Experience/Skills

Commercial real estate experience is required.

2 - 5+ years of experience in asset management, property operations, brokerage, acquisitions, or construction within commercial real estate.

Experience working with and overseeing Property Managers.

Strong financial and analytical skills.

Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.

Detail-oriented with strong follow-through.

Self-motivated, proactive, and known for a strong work ethic.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.

Preferred Experience/Skills

Familiarity with real estate analysis or property management software (ARGUS or similar).

Exposure to commercial real estate market research tools.

Education Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Finance, Construction Management, or a related field is strongly preferred.
