$170,000 – $190,000 base + full benefits
We are partnering with a well-established General Contractor in South Florida seeking a
Lead Superintendent
to oversee complex
mid- and high-rise ground-up projects
in the Boca Raton area. This role is ideal for a senior field leader with strong structural expertise who can take full ownership of site operations, scheduling, safety, and execution from mobilization through turnover.
Responsibilities
Lead all on-site construction activities for mid- and high-rise projects
Oversee post-tension concrete structures, vertical construction, and sequencing
Manage crane operations, including power crane coordination and logistics
Direct and coordinate all subcontractors, field staff, and self-performed work
Maintain full responsibility for schedule adherence, quality control, and safety
Serve as the primary on-site point of contact for ownership, inspectors, and consultants
Conduct daily site meetings, short-interval planning, and look-ahead scheduling
Ensure compliance with all OSHA, safety, and company standards
Proactively identify and resolve constructability, sequencing, and manpower challenges
Support punch-list completion, inspections, and project close-out
Qualifications
10+ years of experience as a Superintendent with a General Contractor
Proven experience leading mid- and high-rise ground-up projects
Strong background in post-tension concrete construction
Ability to manage large field teams and multiple subcontractors
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
Proficient with construction scheduling and reporting tools (Procore, P6, etc.)
Stable employment history with reputable General Contractors preferred
Compensation & Benefits
Base salary: $170,000 – $190,000 (depending on experience)
