Viewpoint is seeking an experienced traditional media buyer to join our team. This role requires a minimum of three years of relevant experience and a proven ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, campaign-driven environment. While our media planning spans all formats—including linear, streaming, and social—this position will focus specifically on supporting broadcast TV & cable media placements.
In this role you will:
Plan and buy campaigns across TV and cable.
Request and evaluate vendor proposals, negotiate rates, and confirm availability.
Enter, update, and manage buys within FreeWheel/STRATA.
Gather post logs, affidavits, and delivery reports to support post-buy analyses.
Assist in the invoice reconciliation process, confirming deliveries and resolving discrepancies.
Keep campaign records organized for billing and auditing purposes.
Work collaboratively with other members of the ad ops team as well as the broader team to support launch and reporting
Here’s what you’ll need to succeed at Viewpoint:
Minimum 3-5 years of linear buying experience
Experience in FreeWheel/STRATA platform
The ability to manage multiple, complex projects simultaneously
Self-directed mindset with the ability to take ownership of troubleshooting issues as they arise
Have meticulous attention to detail while setting up campaigns and running QAs
Passion for political change and electing strong Democratic leaders
This is a full-time role with a competitive salary and benefits. Salary range between $100,000-$125,000. The position can be based anywhere in the Eastern Time Zone. Location preference is New York City or Washington D.C.
